CHEX Explosion-proof Hand Chain Hoists

  • The Masada CHEx chain hoist is one of the safest technologies on the market.

  • Used for the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, the food processing industry as well as the power supply, shipbuilding, offshore and natural gas liquefaction (LNG) industries.

  • The CHEx chain hoist programme is based on the modular CH chain hoist programme.

  • Safe working loads range from 500 kg to 5,000 kg for use in zones 1 and 21 and from 500 kg to 5,000 kg for use in zone 22. All components are manufactured by us and add their own part to the comprehensive high quality explosion protection.

  • The strict ATEX directive regulations for mechanical and electrical explosion protection are naturally met.

    ●  Active double pawl brake brake system, powder metallurgy sintering integrated friction plate

    ●  Alloy steel forged gears and axles, integrated gear design

    ●  Alloy steel copper-plated upper and lower hook, forging safety sheet

    ●  The internal gear and structure are treated with corrosion resistance and fireproof flower

    ●  Solid steel structure, double layer design protection system of brake chamber

    ●  Standard with fireproof flower load chain, stainless steel hand zipper and reinforced tail block

    ●  Working temperature: -40℃to +50℃

    ●  Zone: Zone1&2 (gas), Zone21&22 (dust)

    ●  Explosion-proof level:EX I12GDc IIC t4 IIC T135°C

    ●  Ultra-high strength - the life of the hoist is more than 1500 times of EU standard fatigue test
